"La volonté de cet atelier a été de poser un premier regard ensemble sur le quartier de New Bell. Essayer de nommer, de reconnaître, de découvrir le "Qwatt".
Pendant 3 semaines Anne Chabert a construit une relation avec un groupe de jeunes adultes du quartier. Des garçons sans réel projet comme il y en a beaucoup dans ces environnements urbain ou pas grand chose est fait pour les gens, elle a regardé la ville à travers leurs yeux, les a initiés à la vidéo, leur a fait faire des films sur leur vie, que durant le festival elle a diffusé dans la rue, dans les cours d'école, etc.

"The idea of this workshop was about having a first point of view, together, on the New Bell area. Try to recognise, to speak about, to discover the "kwatt".

During the 3 weeks of the residency, Anne Chabert was building a relation with a group of young adults coming from the area. Guys without a real perspective in life, as there is a lot in these kind of places where nothing is really done for people. Through their eyes she was observating the city. She initiated them to video, they made films about their lifes. And during the festival they organised projections of these movies in the street, in the schools courtyards...
